Why the wort Plato lowered too fast during fermentation?

It’s very importation for wort Plato to be reduced to an appropriate valve in suitable period.

When the rate of wort Plato reducing too fast, sugar in the wort could be reduced up to 2-2.5°P per day during the high foaming period in the main fermentation stage. The whole main fermentation only takes 3-4 days to reach the required sugar content.
That will cause beer tastes thin and poor foam performance.

There may be some reasons:

1. The temperature of cooled wort is high even more than 10°C, in this case, if the fermenting temperature is high, it may cause the temperature of fermenting liquid raise 1.5-2°C per day.

2. Too much yeast are added. Large amount of sugar are quickly broken down.

3. The temperature of glycol water isn’t low enough. This causes the wort temperature too high to inhibit yeast reproduction.

In the main fermentation period, as long as the cooling temperature of wort, the cooling water temperature and the yeast addition amount are controlled properly, the situation of rate of wort Plato reducing too fast could be avoided efficiently.
