Common problems and solutions in the use of conical tanks


Large tank leaks
Air leakage is a common phenomenon in the production of conical tanks, mainly occurring in the top part of the tank, the solution is to check frequently, clean the overpressure and vacuum valves and replace the sealing liner in time.
Frozen beer
The refrigerant temperature should not be too low, keep it at -4°C to -6°C.
Gradient distribution
The conical tank is more than ten metres high, its convection is poor, there is a temperature difference between the upper and lower liquids, the liquid density is different, and the carbon dioxide content is low at the top and high at the bottom, so that there is gradient stratification in the fermentation solution.
Conical tanks stain bacteria
The surface area of the tank is very large, the external pipeline is more, many times in and out of the material or gas, easy to contaminate bacteria, be sure to clean and sterilise them rigorously.
Instrument is more positive
One is the use of better quality instruments, the second is the regular correction and often check the instrument to prevent improper operation.
CIP cleaning effect is poor
One is the equipment or parts of improper choice, the second is the use of cleaning agent is not appropriate. It should be corrected according to different reasons.
