After all these years of brewing experiences, we developed a comprehensive system including the automatic and manual way of hop dosing in beer like a Hop Gun or Hop Pitching Tank.
 
These dosing installations provide answers to most of the issues of existing dry hopping techniques and guarantee the addition of unlimited quantities of hop pellets without oxygen pick-up.
 
Today I’d like to share this Hop Pitching Tank with you.

 
The Hop Pitching Tank, also called dry hopper, hop dosing tank, or bomber, is usually used for dry hopping with pressure for the fermenters. When setting up a brewery from the very beginning, a hop pitching tank can be a smart, low-cost way to improve the fermenting part of the brewing process.
 
The bottom Butterfly Valve is connected with the dry hopping port on top of the fermenter. The pressure won’t be released during the dry hopping process, which can minimize the negative effect to beer as much as possible. And it also can effectively reduce the hygienic risk.
 
Size:
For this dry hopper, we have 5L, 10L, 15L size of Pitching Tank for your options.
The size of the hopping tank will definitely according to the capacity of your fermentation tanks.
For example, the 5L one is usually suitable for fermenters that less than 1500L.
 
 
Feature:
1) Detachable: the connection port between the hop tank and the fermenter can be Tri-clamp or DIN way, and there is a big butterfly valve for controlling the on or off of the pressure. Which means you can install or take it down at any time you want.
2) CO₂  inlet and outlet:
Before dosing the hops, you could inject a certain amount of CO₂ to ensure the pressure inside the pitching tank the same with the pressure inside the fermenter.
If the pressure is too high, we could also let some out to ensure the safety of your work.
3) Pressure Gauge:
You can keep observing the pressure inside the hopper.
4) Material:
Completely stainless steel.
