In fact, There are several ways to improve wort plato:

1. Prolong the boiling time. The more water evaporates, the higher plato the wort will have. But the boiling time should not be too long.
Or it would accelerate the oxidation and increase the color of the wort. That may cause a bad flavour to your beer.

2. Do step mashing or decoction mashing. Step mashing or decoction mashing could prompt lower quality grain or starch breaking down into sugar.

3. We also could add sugar in brewing process. That is the directly and easy method to improve the wort plato.
