Today, our craft beer equipment engineer will take you to understand the installation and commissioning steps of craft beer equipment.

Planning and preparation
1. Check the equipment specifications and installation guidelines provided by the manufacturer.
2. Determine the optimal location for each piece of equipment based on brewery layout and workflow considerations.
3. Make sure that the installation area has necessary water, electricity, gas, steam and other public facilities and has been connected.
4. Prepare the installation area by cleaning and tidying up the space, removing any obstructions or debris that may interfere with the installation process.

Equipment assembly

Craft beer equipment in place: refer to the relevant drawings, and determine the location of the equipment according to the process requirements and site conditions.

Fermentation equipment
After installing L pipes, valves, pressure gauges, temperature sensors and other accessories into the fermenter, pressurize with tap water to 0.18-0.2MPA, keep the pressure for 2 hours, clean if there is no abnormality, and test one by one.

Auxiliary equipment installation
Install and connect any auxiliary equipment that supports the brewing process, such as chillers, boilers, filtration systems, pumps, compressors and refrigeration units. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for each piece of auxiliary equipment and ensure proper connections to utilities and control systems. Test the functionality and performance of assistive devices to verify that they are functioning as expected.

Disinfect and Clean
Clean and sanitize all brewing equipment prior to commissioning to remove any contamination or residue. Follow industry best practices and use approved cleaners to ensure a hygienic brewing environment.

Craft beer machine installation environment
Beer equipment installation should pay attention to environmental drainage, sanitation and other issues. If your craft beer machine is not installed on the first floor but on the second floor or other locations, you also need to consider the load-bearing capacity of the house where the equipment is installed and the laying of drainage and water supply settings.

Training and Documentation
Provide comprehensive training to brewery employees on the operation, maintenance and safety procedures of brewery equipment and auxiliary systems. Document all installation and commissioning procedures, including equipment specifications, schematics, utility connections, and any modifications made during setup. Maintain equipment manuals or reference guides that include troubleshooting tips, maintenance schedules, and technical support contact information.
