The fermentation tank is generally made of SUS304 stainless steel and is welded by argon arc. Some individual customers want 316L material, which increases the cost, but the result is the same. From a practical point of view, as long as the part in contact with the material is 304 stainless steel, as long as the legs can be welded to the inner pot, the strength can be supported. Color steel plates, aluminum titanium plates, and even carbon steel painting can be outsourced. The insulating material does not have to be polyurethane. It turned out that the insulation material for the fermentation tanks of large breweries was perlite.
The purpose of this is to tell everyone that what fits is good, and that as long as the outcome we want remains the same, everything else is possible.
Due to the need for pressure, the upper part of the structure is designed as a head or cone, and the lower cone is designed to facilitate the discharge of yeast, which is 60°, sometimes 72°, 75°, 90° to reduce the height.
In addition to manhole doors and butterfly valves, the accessories on the fermentation tank also include positive and negative pressure safety valves, mechanical pressure regulating valves, sampling valves, rotary valves, pressure gauges, bimetal thermometers, carbon dioxide-filled titanium rods, etc.
The positive and negative pressure safety valve is the last line of defense for the safety of the fermentation tank, and both positive and negative pressures are turned on. In particular, the tank may be crushed even if the negative pressure is very low. Valve is installed. It is also integrated with the mechanical pressure regulating valve, installed on the CIP cleaning pipeline, and has the function of positive and negative pressure protection. A mechanical pressure regulating valve is used to keep tank pressure constant. The high-end point is the water-sealed mechanical pressure regulating valve. There is a transparent water seal cup, you can see the bubbles coming out, which is convenient to observe the situation.
In addition to the limited height of the manhole door, the upper manhole should be selected as much as possible, because it is in the upper part and does not come into contact with the fermentation broth, so the pollution may be less, and there is no condensation in summer. The side manhole occupies these two aspects, but it can solve the problem that the height of the room is limited and the manhole door cannot be opened.
