I am researching cellar controls and I'm wondering what temperature probes are compatible with the tanks you are producing for me. I know from the drawings that the thermowell port has 1/2" female threads, so I'm thinking a PT100 probe with 1/2" male threads is the intended probe, but I'm not sure on length. Could you let me know what type and size (length specifically) will work with the thermowell in these tanks?
The PT 100 are included in the quotation, so we will provide them for each fermenters, you don't need to prepare them.
For your information, I shared some pictures with you below.
This is the PT100 we supply, and it has three core-wires inside, and this temperature probe and PT100 we have used for many years, the temperature sensing is very sensitive, the error is very small, generally in ±0.1℃.
After you receive the fermantation tanks, it's good for you to just need to connect these PT100 to your cellar control panel with a signal cable.
Attached is one instruction of the PT100.
We also provide each unit with a junction box that will be installed at the back of the tank to protect the temperature probe.
I hope the above information would be clear and helpful for you.
