Hop Back, which also can be called hop rocket, is a sealed stainless steel tank that customized for keeping the aroma flavor of hops as much as possible in the wort. It is very common used among our clients and in craft brewery equipment.
 
As you can see from the above photo, it has a hollowed basket inside the tank with very minor holes, this is where we put the hop pallets. There are different sizes of hop backs according to the different capacities of brewhouse, for example, 30L of hop back is usually enough for brewery system under 500L.
As we all know that the aroma flavor of hops is very easy to be volatilized in high temperature, and we used to have another way to avoid this happens, which is we could customize another pipe to return the wort from heat exchanger back into the kettle tun, therefore the aroma hops can be put into the wort after cooling to some extent and keep the aroma as much as possible. And afterwards, in order to make the brewing process easier and more comfortable for our clients, the hop back is designed and now we have received a lot of good feedback of it from our clients.
 
Although the beer brewing process can be simple like several procedures but the details of the whole process will finally affect the beer flavor, and what we are trying to do is always keep improving our equipment with its configurations and try our best to meet your demands and expectations for beer brewing.
