It is OK to brewing the beer with standard configuration. But some brewmasters prefer upgrade the brewhouse configuration and put his ideas into the design. Here is some ideas about the brewhsoue configuration and let us check together:-)
 
1)Scrapper blade
For big capacity brewhouse, it is better to put scrapper blade into design. It will helps save a lot labor. For small capacity brewhouse, it is OK to remove the spent grain with harrow by manual.
 
2)Wort grant
A wort grant is simply a small tank that collects the wort from the lauter tun. The pump is connected directly to the wort grant instead of the lauter tun. Gravity gently pulls the wort from the lauter tun, thus minimizing compression of the grain bed. It has better function to protect the tanks.
 
3)Wort collect and anti-rinser
The wort collect function is similar with wort grant, it helps to release the pressure of spent grain. The wort collect has many wort outlet and the flow speed is more evently.
The anti-rinser can use for cleaning the bottom of false bottom, it is more easier to clean the false bottom and save cleaning time.
 
There still have many improvements can put into design, for example sour beer technology, relief valve, pressure gauge for monitor clogging etc. The brewmasters ideas are important, certainly the improvements alos will increase the cost.
