The glycol cooling system is the heart among beer brewing equipment.
Usually we will make it bigger, and have two chillers as least.
Do you know why?
As you know, we have helped with 1300+ project installation, the feedback is the best on such specifications.
Because it has room that allows further expanding with more brews in a day, fermenters/BBTs.
Another important reason is that can ensure the brewery stable running. Usually we equip two smaller chillers rather than equip a big chiller.
This is because two chillers are very flexible. Sometimes when one of them is getting problem, the customer will need time to work with the problems.
During this period, another one could be used for cooling, that can ensure the beer from getting bad because of not being cooled.
And when less cooling energy is needed, customers could run just one chiller, which could help to save energy.
Two chillers make more sense, because sometimes even if one fermenter's beer goes bad, the loss could be even higher than buying a chiller.
