How To Protect Your Chiller?

Glycol chilling unit is very important for beer brewing system. And chillers are the soul of glycol chilling unit.

If chillers break down and couldn’t be dealt with in time, the losses will be huge: all your beer in the fermenters and BBTs may go bad.
So what could we do to protect your chiller?

1. Chillers require good ventilation. Don’t put it in a poorly ventilated place, or it will affect the efficient of chilling, and reduce the lifetime.
2. You’d better build a small shack for the chiller in case of heavy rain and blizzard.
The chillers are designed for outdoor working. Normal rainwater is ok for them. But it need be protected in case of heavy weather.
3. Regular maintaining for the chillers. In its use, there will be dust, small insects, leaves etc enter into your chillers. Cleaning and maintaining regularly could ensure its working efficiency and prolong the lifetime
4. To avoid the human or animal Touchness, an iron net cover maybe necessary for it. And chiller requires a good ventilation, so the net shouldn’t not be too dense.

Any idea or discussion will be highly welcomed.:)
