Wort Preparation In Beer Brewing Process



Brewing process includes: milling, mashing, lautering,boiling, whirlpool, wort cooling, fermenting, maturing..etc.

The basic process of brewing is wort preparation. The purpose of wort preparation is to modulate the solid malt, non germinated grains and hops with water to clarify the process of transparent wort.
Fermented wort is used to ferment beer for brewing.

The requirements in wort preparation process are:

1. Extracting the useful ingredients from the grain to the maximum extent.
2. The least dissolving of useless or harmful ingredients in the grain.
3. The proportions or quantities of components made from wort should meet the requirements of different beer.
4. To shorten time, save energy and reduce consumption as much as possible.
